Sometimes when your on journey you can’t see how far you’ve come or how much work it took for you to get there !

It’s okay it sit back and admire all that you’ve done even if no one else sees you !

Realizing the amount of work I have put in over the 10 years is unreal sometimes because I use to write journal entries about having my own catering company after graduation & look at me now !

I honestly didn’t have a mapped out plan I just knew I wanted certain things for myself & sitting around crying about life’s circumstances wasn’t gonna get me there !
•
I give all the praise to god because majority of my experience was me moving off faith! A lot of times no one around me could see the vision but I ALWAYS knew i’m not making this vast decision for no reason i’m trusting god and my ability to make it work !

Last video I took you guys with me on a quick shopping trip to secure the wood to take on the floor & now it’s time to get to work !
•
I got started cutting the wood to size so each piece could slide into place properly & adding the holes for my carriage bolts.
•
Now to keep this trailer extra protected, I purchased poly to put on top of the subfloor. This gives the wood in the floor an extra barrier of protection against future weather conditions that could lead to the wood rotting again.
•
After I placed all the outer pieces with carriage bolt holes back in to make sure all my holes lined up properly before I can start securing them in place.
•
Now to give myself a little more security I’m also going to weather treat all the beams that i’ll be using in the floor.
•
& the bottle says let them dry for at least 24 hrs so I guess I’ll listen & catch you guys next video for the full floor install 😅

Finally Back with PT. 2 of Watch Me Renovate My New Catering Truck 🚚!

The weather had been super bad! Between the rain for days straight & the random snow in April ! I had to squeeze in time to get out to the trailer!
•
But I managed to get most of the truck gutted ! This was a food trailer before so I didn’t have to take out too much but I did take out the old window & majority of the structure for the walls!
•
If you can’t tell fixing this side of the trailer will be my first major project !
In the next part you will see me rebuild the structure for the right side of the trailer & decide if the hole is fixable or it’s time to order a whole new panel 🤞🏾 it’s fixable lol

Remember it always looks worst before it gets better !
